A Rustic Yellow and Cobalt Blue Wedding

Gillian and Brennan had their stunning wedding in the mountains of Vermont, one of my favorite places from my childhood. When Gillian reached out to me for invitations I was ecstatic about her theme and her wedding style. It was pure rustic elegance and her colors were butter yellow and cobalt blue - so perfect for summer!

I kept their names bold in blue and did the rest of the text in gray with a subtle yellow graphic behind. A yellow invitation mat finished off the main piece and then the rest of the suite was designed to match.

I also created a matching program using the same elements from the invitation.

And to top things off, we went ahead and did matching custom beer bottle labels! Because, really - what wedding would be complete without matching beer labels?! Brennan & Gillian brewed their own beer for the wedding so I designed a beer called "Brillian's Brews" (combining their two names) in the flavors they had brewed! I'm sure this was one of the hits of the party!

Congratulations, Brennan & Gillian!! Also - how gorgeous are they?

Fall-Themed First Birthday Invitation

This project for a set of twins was a first and combined a few of my favorite things on earth - babies and FALL! I was so excited to design my first ever birthday invitations for the cutest little twins you've ever seen! Amit is throwing a fall-themed party for her babies so of course we did lots of orange and brown and pumpkins!

Garden Themed Wedding

When Brandi from As You Wish events reached out to me to participate in a stylized shoot, I literally (and figuratively) JUMPED at the opportunity. Not to mention, she had me at the words "Secret Garden"... SWOON!!!

I created a beautiful suite for Brandi's shoot and spared no expense. The suite had several enclosures, rounded corners on the invitations, a beautiful understated blush pink graphic, a gorgeous print pattern on the back of the program and everything was bundled with lace and an antique skeleton key to get the whole theme across.

I was seriously in LOVE with this suite. Even my printer said it was one of her Top 10 favorite invitations EVER!!! For more pictures, visit The Bride's Cafe!

Nautical Crab Baby Shower Invitation

One of my closest friends is having her first baby boy this summer. Since she her and her hubby live in Maryland (where he was born and raised), another girlfriend and I decided to host a "Baby Cocktail" with a Nautical/Crab theme to welcome the newest little guy of our group!

These invitations could not have been cuter and could definitely be used for a bridal shower or crab-themed summer BBQ, birthday party, etc!

Luau Birthday Party

My daughter recently turned one and I knew I wanted to throw her a luau-inspired birthday party before she was even born. I created all the paper materials myself... The Invitations, food labels, stickers for decor, photo banner and gift tag labels for favors. I had a palm tree icon and specific color palette and fonts that I used throughout the whole suite so that everything coordinated perfectly. I loved the way everything turned out and it was such a fun celebration for my sweet girl!

And of course, a custom thank you note with a picture from the party!

Carnival First Birthday Invitations

I had so much fun working on these custom "Carnival" themed pieces for little Marco's first birthday! He is just the cutest little guy and I joke with his Mama that he's going to be my future Son-In-Law!

Amber wanted classic carnival colors for the invitation.

I also created a coordinating label that she stuck onto large lollipops as a favor for all their guests!
Such a fun party theme for a first birthday! Happy First Birthday, Marco!! :)

Shabby Chic First Birthday Invitation

I didn't realize how many kiddos are turning one this summer until all these first birthday invitations started coming out of the woodwork!

Mindi asked me to custom design a rustic "shabby chic" invitation for her princess Reagan who is turning one this month. It was so. much. fun. to play with graphics and fonts and make this invitation! It was more "artistic" than I usually go, but I had a blast and I hope Mindi (and Reagan!) love it as much as I do :)

Where The Wild Things Are First Birthday Invitation

My friend Ashley had the cutest theme in mind for her little guy's first birthday... Where The Wild Things Are! SO different and unique, that of course he needed a custom invitation!

She took the most adorable picture of Mac wearing a little yellow crown and everything. I was able to find a similar font used in the book and used a birch tree image as inspiration for the backdrop. One of my favorite birthday invitations to date!

Happy 1st Birthday, Mac!

Hot Pink and Teal First Birthday Invitation

I cannot believe how many babies are turning ONE this summer! Well, I assume a lot of them are, but there are several that I know specifically since it seems that all I've been working on lately are first birthday invitations!

First up? Penelope! Her sweet mama wanted me to do a front and back invitation which was a fun concept and we both loved the way it turned out!

Nautical Bridal Shower Invitations and Thank Yous

Amy is having TWO bridal showers and needed one invitation design for both. Her inspiration is nautical since one of her showers it as the beach and the colors were gray, butter yellow and navy. I created a simple design with a lasting impression and Amy loved them so much, she had matching thank-you notes created as well!

Fall Wedding Photo Save The Dates

Dori is a good friend of my sister-in-laws and she and her fiance Ken are getting married this October. I was flattered when Dori contacted me about custom designing Save-The-Dates for their wedding but I was even more surprised when Ken was the one I worked most closely with on the design! It was so great to see a groom so involved and interested and passionate! He has an art background so he really wanted the design to represent him and Dori's relationship... is that the cutest thing or what?

In colors of cobalt and green, we worked to achieve the perfect look that Ken and Dori were going for. He especially loved this picture of him proposing and wanted it utilized on the Save The Date. And those little birdies? All his idea! :)

Coral and Gray Bridal Shower Invitation

It seems as though Coral and Gray are hot trends this spring (can you tell by my logo/blog design? ha!) and I loved working on this color combination with Angela for her friend's bridal shower! Add some fun fonts, a bit of chevron, and a swirly frame and we had a winner!

Garden and Floral Bridal Shower Invitation

When Stacy contacted me for invitations for her bestie's shower, I had a vision in my head almost the moment she said, "she's very J.Crew meets Kate Spade." That, plus her idea for a "garden" theme sent me running and Stacy loved the final product after my first draft! I knew I wanted to do bright, bold colors with a chic and elegant twist. Caroline's shower is sure to be glamorous and fun, don't you think?!

Southern Glam Wedding Invitations: Amanda & Josh

Amanda is one of my good friend's little sister, and also a dear friend as well. I created her and Josh's engagement invitations in the fall and was thrilled to work with her on her wedding invitation suite.

Amanda and Josh are getting married at Barnsley Gardens, right outside of Atlanta, Georgia where they live. She is having a stunning Southern-style wedding with what is sure to be an elegant and glamorous touch. Being an event planner AND a wedding photographer herself, I just know Amanda's wedding is going to be amazing!

For the invitations we went simple with Amanda's color palette of silver, gray and a light powdery purple. Each piece has a custom monogram at the top that will also be incorporated into other aspects of the wedding. We also threw in a little punch of glamour with silver glittery invitation liners - just to let the guests know what they were in for ;)

It's hard to tell by the pictures, but the invitations were also printed on a shimmery, crystal metallic card stock for an extra sheen!

Has to be one of my favorite projects to date! Congratulations to Amanda and Josh!

Spring Inspired Wedding Invitations: Rebecca & Gary

You may remember Rebecca's gorgeous spring-themed Save-The-Date in rich tones of navy and green. When it came time to do her Wedding Invitations, I flipped the colors around and focused much more on the green so that the springiness would have more of a presence.

Rebecca and I worked hard to find the perfect subtle image that would still capture the essence of the wedding but was simple and elegant, and I knew we'd found it when I stumbled across these adorable dandelions.

Rebecca's suite has the main invitation, an RSVP card, a hotel accommodations enclosure, and an invitation to a welcome reception the night before. I just loved the way everything turned out!

Engagement Invitations: Amanda & Josh

Amanda and Josh are getting married in the spring and I did her sister's wedding invitation suite for the fall, so I'm excited to create this collection for another sister, different season, and see their similarities and differences!

Even though she's going to be a spring bride, Amanda's engagement party was in November and I worked with her sister Pam to create this simple yet elegant invitation for it.

Winter Wedding: Rasha & Josh

Rasha is my oldest and dearest friend... we met in kindergarten if you can even believe that! She wanted an olive tree as the main focal point on their invitation and the colors we decided on were olive green, cream, and gold. They turned out perfectly and I even created a little logo to match for her guest favors!

Winter Wedding Invitations: Casey & Jason

Casey and Jason's wedding is going to just be amazing. Her stunning color palette of crisp navy and rich gold will surely knock her guests' socks off!

Casey wanted a bold look for her invitation and fell in love with this pattern frame. I also did a similar themed invitation liner for an extra punch of elegance.
